The China Mining Conference & Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as CHINA MINING) is held once a year for 20 years, starting from 1999.
CHINA MINING covers the entire mining chain, including geological exploration, exploration and development, trade in mineral rights, investment and financing in the mining industry, smelting and processing, technology and equipment, mining services and so on. It provides not only a platform for exploration, development and mining. It is also bridge of communications for native and international mining companies and the agencies related with them. Basing on the statistics data from 2004 to 2018, the number of delegates increased from 1000 in 2004 to more than 11,000 in 2018, and the number of participants increased from 125 to 420.
The expansion of the scope allowed CHINA MINING to play an increasingly influential role in global mining industry. CHINA MINING 2019 was held in Tianjin for the eleventh time.
CHINA MINING consisted of three parts: conferences, exhibitions and events.
The conference attracted leading experts of the industry to discuss the most relevant topics and to provide useful information. Topics also covered mining trends, the global market of mineral products, opportunities for internal and international investment, sustainable development of mining industry, geological research, mining technology and equipment.
The industry exhibition was attended by pavilions from the world's largest mining countries and regions as well as exhibitors from mining companies, investment and financial institutions, valuation advisory services, technical service providers, equipment suppliers and other exhibitors from all countries that are aimed to development of cooperation within at home and abroad, in exploration, operation, investment, equipment, technology and other fields by demonstrating of their proposals.
There were many different events during the congress, such as: Welcome Cocktail, Opening Ceremony, Leaders' and VIP persons’ Tour, Welcome Reception, Bilateral Meetings of Foreign Ministers of China, Project Selection Meetings and Signing Ceremony, Gala Dinner and others. This provided additional opportunities for business and more personal communication for gaining of the experience and new connections.
